Dr. Johnathan Snead


Dr. Snead is a Tuskegee University of Veterinary Medicine graduate from the class of 2010. He has a passion for orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and always strives to offer the highest quality of medicine while giving personalized attention to each of his clients and their pets. Dr. Snead also enjoys treating small mammals and exotic pets. During his days off, he enjoys spending time with his beloved dog Rosie, our hospital mascot!

Dr. Joe Owens


Dr. Joe, III is an exemplary Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Inventor, Business Owner, and affluent public speaker. Dr. Owens is the proud son of Mr. Joe Owens, Jr and Sharon Owens, DVM, whom inspired his career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Owens was born in Marlboro MA, and raised in Durham NC, with his 3 sisters. Dr. Owens attended and graduated from the illustrious Tuskegee University with his undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2008, and again in 2012 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While attending Tuskegee, Dr. Owens was an honor student, joined the prestigious Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., was Mr. Tuskegee University 07-08, and held positions in Veterinary School as Class President 08-09 and SCAVMA President 10-11.

Upon graduating, Dr. Owens relocated to Las Vegas to begin his career. He has worked everything from relief, shelter medicine, emergency, private practice and corporate day practice. In 2016 he made the decision to grow his career by not only practicing Veterinary medicine but ownership in clinics as well. In 2016, Dr. Owens not only partnered to open up an ER clinic, but he also invented Enjoy-A-Bowl. Enjoy-A-Bowl is the ONLY appetite stimulation bowl on the market for pets, that allows you to treat your pet with tantalizing aroma of human food without the bad side effects. In 2017 on the heels of opening two more clinics with his business partner (Dr. Johnathan Snead), Dr. Owens went on to pitch Enjoy-A-Bowl on national television and win a cash prize of $50k on Steve Harvey’s Funderdome on ABC.

Currently, Dr. Owens co-owns three clinics in the Las Vegas Area and enjoys traveling to Veterinary schools to mentor and recruit the worlds future veterinarians.

Dr. Caitlin Mascaro


Dr. Mascaro was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her Bachelors’s in Animal Science and Technology at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) while also working as a veterinary technician. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Mascaro enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, riding horses, and watching the LSU tigers play football. She has 1 dog named Senor Uno (terrier mix), and a horse named Magic that lives in Louisiana.

Joy Coffer - Human Resources Manager



Joy and her family moved to Las Vegas in 1995. The veterinary field was something she came across strictly by “accident”. Twenty years later she couldn’t be happier with her career choice. While she does not currently have any pets, at one time or another, her home has sheltered sugar gliders, dogs, multiple birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, turtles, and tortoises. Joy currently lives with her husband, has three grown children and four of the best grandkids ever!



Tianna graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY in 2019. Tianna relocated to Las Vegas in May of 2020. She has been in the vet field since 2017 and before that she worked with animals in a day care and shelter setting. Known as the crazy pug lady, Tianna lives with her 2 pugs, Sonny and Annabel and 1 Chow Chow, Balor. When she’s not working she loves traveling!

Christine Bewley - Veterinary Assistant



Christine Bewley has 10 years of experience in the vet field. When she isn’t caring for your pets she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, going hiking, going to concerts and reading.

Kyle Wheeler - Veterinary Assistant



Kyle has been living in Vegas since 2002 (has it really been that long?) and working in the vet field since 2008 (ditto). He and his wife have a little, elderly dog at home that they love very much, and also an obnoxious cat. When not treating your pets like family, you can find him enjoying music, movies, reading, chocolate, wine, sushi, lists, reading, repeating himself, long sentences, and writing brief bios about himself in the third person.



Veronica, full-time room tech, born and raised in California, relocated in Vegas since 2000, has been in the veterinarian field since 2003 she loves dealing with exotics, and anything that walks thru the doors. Veronica is compassionate and relatable, who makes it her mission to treat all pets and clients like family. When she isn’t caring for your pets she is spending time with her two kids. Veronica also enjoys outdoor adventures, hiking, traveling, working out, painting, and music, she is also a proud owner of an 8yr old chihuahua named WeeWee, 5yr old Sheltie named Roxie, 3yr old domestic shorthair cat named Mittens and a conure named Olive.



Bree was born in Las Vegas, Nv, but raised in boonies of East Tennessee on a farm where her passion for animals grew deep. She’s been in the vet field since 2014. Her passion in life is to become a veterinary technician for equine therapy. Her passion for pets flows through her veins as naturally and deep as possible. Her main focus is the health of your pets and the happiness in each one of them. Outside of work you can find Bree doing anything outside like hiking,fishing,camping and exploring anywhere they can like national parks with her 3 children and their German Shepherd Annabelle while Steve the cat whom she rescued 14 years ago holds down the fort!



Julia was raised in Hawaii and recently relocated to Las Vegas in January of 2020. Majority of her work history has been in the medical field as a receptionist/financial coordinator. She enjoys working with clients to ensure the best experience for them and their fur babies. In her spare time, Julia enjoys playing games with her two babies and having dance parties! Brittney Turturro - Receptionist



Born and raised in Las Vegas, Brittney has been working in the veterinary field since 2015. If you ask her she will tell you that she wouldn’t choose to work in any other field. At home she has a cat named Megan that she will never stop talking about, and her lifelong dream is to run an animal sanctuary with a focus on senior animals.



Cecilia was born and raised in San Diego CA. She’s worked in the animal field for about 5 years and enjoys every second of it! She can truly say that she loves her job. She doesn’t have any pets at the moment but German Shepherds are her favorite breed! Photo coming soon!



Stephanie was born and raised in Los Angeles California, relocated to Las Vegas in 2019. Stephanie has been in the animal field for a little over 6years. Her love for animals grew from volunteering at animal shelters in California. She recently adopted two beautiful huskies named Lobo and Meesha. On her days off she enjoys her time watching movies(the more gory the better), drawing, and exploring Las vegas with her other half and two fur babies. Photo coming soon!



Autumn lived in Las Vegas for about 15 years. Born and raised in Van Nuys Ca. She has been a vet receptionist about 5 years now. She has a ferret named Littlefoot Lilith. Autumn always loved animals and wanted to help be their voice. Her free time is spilt between making plans with her 3 kids, exploring nature and hiking, and wanting to be a couch potato, napping with littlefoot. Her life motto- “I wear scrubs, I don’t date them.

Ethan Jones - Kennel Assistant



Ethan was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He’s been in Las Vegas since 2017. Ethan enjoys working with animals. When he’s not at work he likes to listen to music, try new foods, and buy shoes.
